Canida named to SNHU president's list
Moriah Canida of Bonners Ferry has been named to Southern New Hampshire University's summer 2021 president's list. Eligibility for the honor requires that a student accumulate an academic grade point average of 3.7-4.0 and earn 12 credits for the term.
SNHU is a private, nonprofit institution with an 89-year history of educating traditional-aged students and working adults. Now serving more than 150,000 learners worldwide, SNHU offers approximately 200 accredited undergraduate, graduate and certificate programs, available online and on its 300-acre campus in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Students admitted to Utah State
Several Bonners Ferry residents were among the 4,100 first-year students welcomed by Utah State University to campus when the university started the fall 2021 semester.
The students are Joseph Swanson and Morgan Swanson, who will attend the university at the USU Main campus.
"We are thrilled to welcome these students to the Aggie family," said President Noelle E. Cockett. "The energy, talents, and enthusiasm this new cohort will bring to our campuses is greatly appreciated. We look forward to seeing what the class of 2025 will accomplish and cannot wait to be a part of their academic growth and success."

Dehlbom earns dean's list honors
imberly Dehlbom of Bonners Ferry has been named to Sherman College of Chiropractic's dean's list for grades earned during the spring 2021 academic quarter. Dean's list students have achieved a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the quarter.
Sherman College of Chiropractic provides students with a comprehensive education, preparing them to enter the field as doctors of chiropractic who are highly skilled, compassionate, ethical and successful.
Boedcher named to SFCC honor roll
SheAnna Boedcher of Bonners Ferry earned a place on the Spokane Falls Community College honor roll for spring quarter 2021. Students must earn a GPA of 3.0 or higher to be on the honor roll.
Community Colleges of Spokane is a 12,300-square-mile state community college district that includes Spokane Community College, Spokane Falls Community College and six rural education sites, serving residents in Pend Oreille, Stevens, Whitman, Ferry and parts of Lincoln counties.
CCS offers academic transfer, career-technical and e-learning degree and certificate programs; business and community training; and adult literacy programs throughout northeastern Washington, enrolling approximately 34,000 students a year.
Hopkins makes RIT dean's list
Clinten Hopkins of Bonners Ferry was named to the dean's list at Rochester Institute of Technology for the 2021 spring semester. Hopkins is in the computer science program.
Founded in 1829, Rochester Institute of Technology enrolls about 18,600 students in more than 200 career-oriented and professional programs, making it among the largest private universities in the U.S.
