AMBER ALERT: Kidnapped Montana girl possibly sighted in Panhandle

The Roosevelt County Sheriff's Office out of Montana has issued an Amber Alert for Dana Lee Johnston, 15, of Fort Peck, Mont.

Dana is described as a Native American female that is 5'6", 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, possibly wearing a striped, white shirt and blue jeans.

Shoshone County Sheriff's Office Cpt. Jeff Lee tells the News-Press that two unconfirmed sightings of Dana were reported to their agency this morning. The first being at the Smelterville Walmart and the other on westbound I-90 near milepost 43 in a black, dual-cab pickup truck.

Dana was reportedly assaulted on the night of Sept. 15 by two unidentified females before Cheri Granbois, 21, dragged her into the pickup truck with a toolbox in the back.
