Second Harvest Inland Empire food distribution: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Boundary County Fairgrounds. The distributions are scheduled to be drive-through events again at the Boundary County Fairgrounds. Cars enter at the east end of the fairgrounds and exit at the west end. There will be groceries, including perishable food, for up to 250 families. All are welcome and there are no identification or residence requirements. This year, five events have already been lined up. The scheduled dates are May 5, June 9 and June 29.

The Timber Rattlers: 7 p.m. at The Pearl Theater, 7160 Ash St., Bonners Ferry. This band is an energetic bluegrass quartet from Missoula. They pull inspiration from traditional roots, but continue to push boundaries in the realm of acoustic music. The tickets are $10 advance, $15 at the door, $5 for kids.
