BONNERS FERRY — Community members of all ages came out last Friday to help clean up the baseball fields at the Boundary County Fairgrounds.

After the fields were damaged by a vandal earlier in the week, community members braved the cold to help Park and Recreation staff pick up brush and clean up the in-fields of the baseball fields. Dirt was added to the in-fields and even some of the younger volunteers made quick work of leveling out the material.

Parks and Recreation officials said they were thankful to community members for coming out in the cold and during spring break to clean the fields before little league begins.
