Arbor Day celebration in Bonners Ferry

Update Arbor Day Event are April 29.

April 29, is the 150th anniversary of Arbor Day. The public is invited to join in the celebration by picking up a free seedling at a celebration in Bonners Ferry.

Idaho Department of Lands, University of Idaho Extension and Boundary Soil Conservation District are hosting the event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. a the Super 1 Foods Parking Lot, 6452 Main St., Bonners Ferry.

Free seedlings will be available while they last, and there will be giveaways, fun activities and firefighters with fire engines at the event.
