Boundary County needs change in commissioners

| April 21, 2022 1:00 AM

Dan Dinning has connections to a myriad of federal and state agencies; therefore, we are supposed to vote for him for county commissioner because he has the wherewithal to solve problems.

Let's take a good look at the way he and Gov. Brad Little tried to solve the "plandemic." A state of emergency was declared, mom-and-pop stores had to close while Walmart and liquor stores were allowed to stay open. We had to mask up to enter our own courthouse even though it was proven that masks don't stop a virus, and grant money was made available to help solve the problems that we never would have had if a state of emergency had not been declared.

As Ronald Reagan said, "Big government is not the answer to our problems. Big government is the problem." Dan ignored this admonition and is now sitting on $1.1 million of federal grant money (ARPA) which doesn’t have strings, but has ropes and chains attached to it. This is typical of all federal funding and is the path toward our county being totally controlled by the federal government.

We have to change the direction that our county is taking, but to do that we have to change commissioners — that's why I'll be voting for Ben Robertson and Steve Fioravanti for county commissioners on May 17.
