For the second year in a row Bonners Ferry High School senior Nick Eastman has been named 3A Boys Soccer All-state second-team player. Eastman played midfielder and striker for the Badger boys soccer.

The 2022 Idaho all-state soccer teams are chosen by the United Soccer Coaches (USC) and Idaho High School Soccer Coaches Association (IHSSCA).

“It’s an honor to be selected as all state, second or first team, especially playing against great players from teams up north and down south,” Eastman said. “I don’t know if the outcome would’ve been the same without my team and coaches pushing to win every game we played. It was a great season not just for me, but I believe for the entire team as well.”

“I am pleased that Nick was selected for All-State honors again this year,” said Bonners Ferry boys soccer coach Paul Bonnel. “He is an imaginative and versatile player. He brings energy, intercity and fun to the game. Moreover, he encourages others to do the same. He is the top scorer in Idaho for good reason; he plays all out from the beginning to end.”

Eastman scored 27 goals and 15 assists in the fall season, averaging 1.3 goals per game.
