Sumpter leads Badgers, girls win by 43
SPOKANE — Kaylee Sumpter led the Badger girls basketball to a win against Rogers High School on Dec. 16, 69-26.
The Badgers scored 28 points in the second quarter and led 44-16 at half time. Four Badgers finished in double digits.
Kaylee Sumpter led the Badgers with 18 points and 15 rebounds. Mia Blackmore was solid, scoring 15 points. Asha Abubakari scored 12 points.
Rylie Kimball had a breakout game scoring 11 points and contributed four assists and three steals.
“Rylie is quick defensively and is getting more comfortable with the ball,” said head coach Travis Hinthorn. “Rylie and Mia did a great job of attacking the basket and getting to the free throw line.”
