A number of high school students and young people in Bonners Ferry had a fine time on a sleigh ride party to the Fitzpatrick ranch last Friday night. The well known hospitality of the Fitzpatrick family was extended to the people and it goes without saying that all enjoyed themselves thoroughly.
A deal was concluded last week whereby E.C. Warwick purchased the Mike Miller barber shop.
Petition for an injunction and a demand that the Idaho Gold and Ruby Mining Co., and its president J.M. Schnatterly appear in the Federal court to answer charges made in a petition was filed in federal court in Spokane Tuesday. Operations of the mining company there, according to the petition of the railroad, will, if continued, cause damages in excess of $30,000 and tie up the railroad line for a long time.

Any interested in trapshooting are cordially invited to meet with other members of the Bonners Ferry Trapshooting Club this Sunday at the Deep Creek grounds to “warm-up” for the upcoming season, which will start in January.
There will be no W.S.A. — B sanctioned snowmobile race at Caribou Raceway this weekend. There simply is no snow!
Mrs. William Bolding announced this week that the Lantern Café and Motel will feature two Spokane musical groups here on New Year’s Eve, in the banquet room of the café.

Four days before Christmas, Naples General Store owners Earl and Linda Berwick were mailed a sweet surprise. The Berwicks received a letter from a former Naples man apologizing for stealing a candy bar from the store 25 years ago. The man included a $100 check.
Christmas came early for Bonners Ferry High School from a secret Santa. A man who wishes to remain anonymous recently donated 15 new computers to the high school.
Senior Ashley Winkelseth led Bonners Ferry to a 57-49 victory over Chewelah during the Dec. 20 away game with 13 points.
