Badgers place 8th at North Idaho Rumble
COEUR d’ALENE — With top 4A and 5A teams, many national ranked wrestlers and USA All-American National placers and National champions, the Badger wrestling placed 8th out of 18 teams with six badgers placing at the 2022 North Idaho Rumble.
Eli Richards came first at 182. Jackson Richter came in fourth, but narrowly missed the finals by a point. Brandon Williams placed fourth and Donald “Donnie” Reiss came in sixth.
For the ladies, Savannah Richter came in first and Aubrey Wells finished sixth.
98 Brandon Williams (23-11) placed fourth. 145 Marcus Regehr (7-2) place is unknown. 160 Daniel Zech (21-8) place is unknown. 160 Eli Leyden (12-10) place is unknown. 182 Eli Richards (30-3) placed first. 195 Joshua Pinkerton (7-9) place is unknown. 220 Jackson Richter (19-6) placed fourth. 220 Logan Thorne (8-8) place is unknown. 285 Donald Riess (16-12) placed sixth.
Girls 145 Gena Kelsey (3-10) place is unknown. Girls 145 Aubrey Wells (7-12) placed sixth. Girls 160 Savannah Richter (14-1) placed first.
Last week two duals were canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. The Badgers will be at home Friday, Feb. 4 at 5 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 5 at 9 a.m. for the Conrad Garner Duals.
