Second Harvest Inland Empire Food Distribution

Second Harvest Inland Empire will return to Bonners Ferry with their free food distribution on Friday, March 4.
The distributions are scheduled to be drive-thru events again at the Boundary County Fairgrounds. Cars enter at the east end of the fairgrounds and exit at the west end. The distribution is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be groceries, including perishable food, for up to 250 families. All are welcome and there are no identification or residence requirements.
Second Harvest works with food producers, wholesalers and retailers to gather food to a Spokane warehouse where it is trucked to people throughout the Inland Empire. This year, five events have already been lined up. The scheduled dates are March 4, April 8, May 5, June 9, and June 29.
