TIMBERLAKE — Badgers are 1-0 in the Intermountain League in boys basketball after beating Timberlake 63-45 on Jan. 19.
The Badgers were led by Braeden Blackmore with 19 points followed by Asher Williams with 15 points.
“It was a great team effort with every Badger scoring in the contest and contributing on both ends of the court,” said head coach Nathan Williams. “I was very proud of the boys for stepping up their defense and crashing the boards to win on the road.”
The game against Priest River scheduled for Jan. 21 was canceled and has not yet been rescheduled.
The Badgers play Timberlake on Jan. 28 in Bonners Ferry. The Jan. 28 game will also be Senior Night for band and girls basketball. The boys basketball night is being rescheduled. Those attending are encouraged to wear blue and those who went to basketball camp last summer will get in free.
