James Wallace Whitcomb

James Wallace Whitcomb was born March 15, 1932, to Wallace William Whitcomb (Wally) and Shirley Barbara Reedy in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. James was an only child.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Grandview Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Louise E. Whitcomb of Des Moines, Wash.; daughter Lynne R Whitcomb of Scottsdale, Ariz.; daughter Sherry L. Whitcomb of Arizona; son James W. Whitcomb of Quincy, Wash.; daughter Carolyn Kim Whitcomb of Waterville, Wash.; son Daniel Blaine Whitcomb of Federal Way, Wash.; and nine grandkids.

James also leaves behind many friends, including Jim Rueschberg of Des Moines, Wash., Barb Lefebure of Portland, Ore., Per Andersonn of Bellevue, Wash., Dan Moilanen of Federal Way, Neil Langford of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, Joy Kamstra of Des Moines, Wash.; the Langford, Reedy, Pilney and Lefebre families, friends and family in Montana, Idaho and Washington; and many others.
