BCMS football practice coming Aug. 8

BONNERS FERRY — Boundary County Middle School football practice is set to start Aug. 8. Practices will be held from 4-6 p.m.

The first week will be focused on conditioning and, during the second week, athletes will go full pads. Practice will be held Monday through Friday from 4-6 p.m. at the practice field. Students will need to have a physical on file and all paperwork turned in to the athletic department before the second week of practice.

On Aug. 2, a free physical evening at Boundary County Hospital is scheduled from 5-7 p.m.

Coach Manny Figueroa said the coaching staff is trying to get kids in early to allow ample time to condition and practice football basics before the season begins.
