Fourth fun planned in community
A host of Fourth of July festivities are planned for the holiday.
Eastport is hosting its 19th annual Fourth of July parade at 1 p.m.
All United States and Canadian residents are encouraged to participate or be a spectator. The parade line-up starts at Frontier Trading at noon.
A potluck will follow at Hall Mountain Fire Department’s Station No. 3 behind Good Grief at 1:30 p.m. The menu will include hamburgers, hot dogs, coffee and water. Bring a side dish or dessert that feeds six to eight people to share.
Fireworks will be held at Feist Creek.
Bonners Ferry will hold its annual Fourth of July Parade on Monday, July 4, from 3-4 p.m. in downtown Bonners Ferry.
All are invited to attend the parade. Following the parade, the community is invited to meet at the Boundary County Fairgrounds, 6567 Recreation Park Road, for a host of activities.
Throughout the afternoon there will be entertainment by the Bonners Ferry High School cheerleading team, Bonners Ferry Orchestra, Nancy Genys Dance Team, and a Warriors Rest/military presentation.
The fireworks show will start at 10:10 p.m.
