2 Badgers make IML All-league girls basketball honors

BONNERS FERRY — Asha Abubakari and Markynn Pluid have been named to the Intermountain League All-League girls basketball team. In addition, Travis Hinthorn earned Coach of the Year honors in the IML.

“Travis [Hinthorn] is a great coach and someone who gives back to our community constantly,” said Nathan Williams, Bonners Ferry High School athletic director. “He is great with kids and someone who understands and appreciates the concept of team. I am thankful that BCSD No. 101 has Mr. Hinthorn teaching and coaching our youth, and I appreciate all of his efforts.”
