James (Jim) Roger Hogan
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a true southern gentleman, James (Jim) Roger Hogan, on Feb. 18, 2022.
Jim was predeceased by both of his parents, his stepfather and by his two brothers. Jim is survived by his wife, Sandy Lequieu, of Idaho; his daughter, Mary Rose Burns; son-in-law Robert Burns; granddaughter Mariah Thibodeau and her husband, Matthew Thibodeau; and Jim’s grandson, Mario Patereau, all of Northern California. Missing Jim dearly are his special sisters, his caregiver and “Big Sis,” Rikki Wright; and her family as well as Jim’s “Little Sis,” Jennifer Stolley.
We would like to thank the Auburn Crest Hospice who took great care of Jim and by the caring staff of Advanced Care Northwest who graced us with Rikki Wright, our friend and Jim’s caregiver, who gave her all to keep him comfortable and in good spirits. Many heartfelt thanks go to Dr. Brenden Mielke for his care and compassion.
Respecting Jim’s final wishes, cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Bridgeway Assembly of God Church, 66027 U.S. 2, Bonners Ferry.
Many thanks go to Chad Workman, funeral director of Bonners Ferry Funeral Home. A big thank you to Ozzie Johnson for his amazing help. Family and friends will have an opportunity to say a few words.
Immediate family and friends will be going for early evening light refreshments after services. All are welcome to join. Please meet up directly after the service.
