BONNERS FERRY — Boundary County Sheriff's Detention Deputy Jonathan Hardman recently graduated from the Idaho Peace Officers Standards and Training Detention Academy in Meridian.

“I am very proud to have Deputy Hardman to be a part of the Boundary County jail team. After completing many weeks at Idaho POST Academy he has demonstrated what it is to be a detention deputy. He went through harsh physical challenges from POST physical fitness to the Defensive Tactics ARCON by training to fight on the ground, as well as the academic challenges of high level classroom courses. Deputy Hardman has the qualities of a deputy that gives his all, as well as integrity and loyalty that is hard to come by in this day and age,” Sgt. B. Brown said.

Boundary County Sheriff Dave Kramer agreed. “Hardman has the right values, being compassionate about the people that he deals with, a team player, professional and level headed,” Kramer said. “It is great to have him back from the academy.”
