Badgers set in with double header against Grangeville

| March 24, 2022 1:00 AM

LEWISTON — Badger softball gained more experience with two games against Grangeville under their belts.

Head coach Kassy Skeen said it was a rough start in the first game as the girls were filled with nerves.

“We are still an inexperienced team, so we are constantly learning from every game. Second game we finally set in,” she said. “ We had some great hits and a better heads up base running game.”

Savannah Rickter in the 4th inning had a solid line drive in between center and right leading to an inside the park home run. Rickter’s constant encouragement, hard work, and effort had her standing out that game, Skeen said.

Full box score information is not available due to unforeseen circumstances.

Badger softball is 0-5 and plays St. Maries at home at noon and 2 p.m.
