Senator Jim Woodward has to go

| March 24, 2022 1:00 AM

Someone recently wrote that “the contrast between state Sen. Woodward, R-Sagle, and several members of the Idaho Legislature is striking” and I couldn’t agree more.

He voted in favor of boys in girls’ sports, he believes in giving driver's licenses to illegals, teaching critical race theory in schools, he voted against giving parents more oversight in classrooms, he voted to fully fund Marlene Tromp’s social justice agenda at Boise State University, he is in favor of spending ARPA funds (this isn’t a return of tax revenue to taxpayers, it’s an increase of our federal debt), and he voted against repeal of the grocery tax. I could go on.

Is he really a Republican? No. He refused to sign the Republican Party Platform. He is registered as a Republican but votes with the Democrats, which is obvious in his Idaho Freedom Index score of 28 out of 100 in 2022. If he wants to vote with the liberals, he needs to be honest and change his party affiliation to Democrat. But he is registered as a Republican because he knows that’s the only way to get elected up here.

Don’t take my word for this. Research his voting record. Do your homework before voting to reelect him. Wake up before it’s too late.
