Girls golf wins all four IML matches, boys see improvement

KELLOGG — Badger golf teams rounded out Intermountain League play May 2 at Pinehurst Golf Course.
The girl Badgers golf swept all four IML matches with Braylyn Bayer medaling all four times. Badgers girls also took the top three spots. Braylyn Bayer took first with 77 strokes, Avery Bayer took second with 84 and Cali Iccolucci took third at 89.
Head coach Ralph Lotspeich said the boys team is improving each and every match as they are closing the gap with the competition.
The four out of five boys have improved since the match at Spirit Lake on April 28. Tyson Tadlcok improved by 16 strokes, Jacob Bliss improved by 8, Eli Blackmore by three and Chago Jimenez improved by one stroke.
Next up is the Lakeland Invite this Friday, May 6 at the Links Golf Course and then districts at Mirror Lake Golf Course Monday, May 6.
