Idahoans face a big decision on May 17

| May 5, 2022 1:00 AM

Our nation was founded by people who were persecuted for their faith. Our forefathers built our nation on Catholic morality. On this base, Americans built the most prosperous and freest nation in the history of the world.

Unfortunately, in the late 19th century, professors came from Central Europe and infiltrated American colleges and universities. They brought forth ideas inspired by the French Revolution, the father of modern day socialism. Their goal was to remove God from the public square and install man as the center of our culture. By 2016, atheistic ideas became prevalent across America and with it a withering attack on Christianity.

This is our choice:

Either we vote for candidates who will fight to retain the freedoms we have and work to reclaim those we’ve lost.

Or we vote for the status quo and give people like Brad Little and certain legislators and other executive office holders the power to repeat the errors of the past two years.

Governor Little broke election law by changing the primary election date and forbidding in-person voting. He carelessly issued an executive order restricting people’s freedom of movement and shutting down businesses and even churches which were deemed by a group of bureaucrats as nonessential.

Your vote will determine what kind of world you leave for your children to live in … either as free American citizens or as slaves to the government.
