Badgers fall to Tigers despite strong start
BONNERS FERRY — The Badgers had a good start, but fell to the Timberlake Tigers in a softball double header on April 29.
In the first game, the Badgers held the Tigers to three runs after some big hits. In the first inning, the Badgers took advantage of errors and gained RBIs, making it 3-all.
In the fourth inning, the Tigers had eight hits to push further ahead. As a result, the Badgers were unable to come back.
In the second game, the Tigers scored another 21 runs, 16 of which were scored in the second inning. The Badgers were left scoreless.
