BONNERS FERRY — A Mobile Vet Center will be visiting Bonners Ferry on Tuesday, May 10.

The community-based counseling center, which will be open from 11 a.m.-8 p.m., will provide a wide range of social and psychological services.

Some of the services the Mobile Vet Center offers include professional readjustment counseling to eligible veterans, active duty service members, including National Guard and reserve components, and their families. Readjustment counseling is offered to make a successful transition from military to civilian life or after a traumatic event experienced in the military.

“Our goal of coming to your area is to connect you (the Veteran) with resources, VA benefits (disability compensation, burial, and medical) counseling, readjustment counseling, and answering any question you may have concerning your benefits that you have earned.” officials said.

The center will be held at the VFW Post 3622, 6635 Lincoln St., Bonners Ferry. No appointment is necessary.
