Youth raised money for SCAA

BONNERS FERRY — A Boundary County youth has shown she is area dogs’ (and cats’) best friend after she raised money for the Second Chance Animal Adoption by operating a lemonade stand.
Josephine Hurd raised $91.78 to the shelter.
“Thank you so furry much Josephine for your paw-some donation,” SCAA officials said in a social media post.
They also thanked all who donate and volunteer to help take care of the animals.
