Badger girls soccer 8-5 after beating Spartans

PRIEST RIVER — The Badger girls soccer beat the Spartans on Tuesday 4-2, making their record 8-5.

The Badgers are currently third in the conference after falling to Timberlake last week. The Badgers play Coeur d’Alene Charter Academy Panthers today at home at 4 p.m. The Panthers are undefeated.

GRANGEVILLE — Over the weekend, the Badgers won 4-0 over the Bulldogs.

At the last match up the Badgers beat the Bulldogs 9-0.

Badger girls soccer fall to Tigers in tight game

BONNERS FERRY — In the rain the Badgers fought the Timberlake Tigers with the Badgers down 2-3 at the half on Thursday, Sept. 29

The Tigers were up 3-0, but in the 26th minute Brooke Petesch scored for the Badgers. For the first 14 minutes of the second half, the Badgers attacked and moved the ball. All was coming together at the midfielders and forwards worked to push up to goal.

With 8 minutes left in the match, Timberlake scored their fourth goal, winning 4-2. The Badgers were unable to come back in the allotted time. Last time the Tigers and Badgers met, Timberlake won 5-1.

Badger girls soccer plays at Grangeville today and Orofino on Saturday. The team is 6-5 overall and 4-3 in conference.

In the previous matchup, the Badgers beat the Grangeville Bulldogs 9-0.
