Second Harvest food distribution Oct. 14
Volunteers with Second Harvest and the local food bank set up a mobile food distribution event. Gov. Brad Little’s Coronavirus Financial Advisory Committee recently approved additional funding to support community food banks, including Second Harvest.

BONNERS FERRY — The final Second Harvest food distribution of the year will be on Friday, Oct. 14 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This event will be a drive-through event at the Boundary County Fairgrounds. Cars will enter on the east side of the grounds and exit on the west side.
The September event was canceled due to the Fire Command Center being at the fairgrounds, organizers said. This event, like all other Second Harvest events, has no residency or qualifying requirements. If you feel you could use help with your food needs this event is for you.
The food trucks are from Spokane and costs are partially defrayed by sponsors and donors. This food truck is being sponsored by Thrivent Financial and Trinity Lutheran Church of Bonners Ferry.
