Commissioners approve investments in BCA with ARPA dollars

BONNERS FERRY — County commissioners approved the purchase of an ambulance, cardiac monitor and powerlift for the Boundary County Ambulance Service through the use of American Rescue Plan Act funds on Oct. 3.

Repairs to the County Annex, formly Armory building, will include a new roof, HVAC repairs and a generator will be paid for by ARPA dollars.

The commissioners have also met with other county departments, such as Parks and Recreation, Emergency Management and others to decide what other projects and equipment can be purchased through the use of ARPA funds.
