Fioravanti will oppose federal overreach

It is difficult to reconcile some of what I have read recently in this letters to the editor section with the Steve Fioravanti that I actually know as a human being.

Steve is running for Boundary County Commissioner District 2 and deserves your vote. He is a genuine small government, low taxation, constitutionalist and pro-freedom Republican, the real deal, not a RINO of the type all too common in the Idaho political landscape.

We live in a time when the federal government is increasingly becoming an instrument of persecution directed at conservatives and anyone who publicly opposes the bizarre and dangerous policies of the Biden Administration.

Thus, Steve’s concerns about the dangers associated with federal funding at the local level seem to me to be quite justified. Federal funding equals federal control, something we all need to consider more carefully than the present commissioners have.
