Quilting Group: 9 a.m. to noon, Trinity Lutheran Church, 6784 Cody St., Bonners Ferry. Group meets every Thursday to make kits and quilts to ship to disaster areas and/or third world countries as well as locally. Feel free to join us. The group will teach anyone how to make them. Helping Hands of Naples biannual community dinner: 4:30-7:30 p.m., South Boundary Fire Station, Schoolhouse Road, Naples. All money raised goes back to the needs of the community. Tickets: adults, $8; children $5.

Boundary County Victim Services annual fall festival and talent show fundraiser: doors open 5 p.m., event starts 6 p.m.; Great Northwest Territories Event Center, 998 Mountain Meadows Road, Naples. Tickets can be purchased at Under the Sun, The Dressing Room and Bonner Books for $20.
