Quilting Group: 9 a.m. to noon, Trinity Lutheran Church, 6784 Cody St., Bonners Ferry. Group meets every Thursday to make kits and quilts to ship to disaster areas and/or third world countries as well as locally. Feel free to join us. The group will teach anyone how to make them. Boundary County Library Board Trustee meeting: 10 a.m. at the Boundary County Annex Building, 6566 Main St, Bonners Ferry The meetings are no longer at the library. Please note new location. Meeting is the third Thursday of the month.

Helping Hands of Naples biannual community dinner: 4:30-7:30 p.m., South Boundary Fire Station, Schoolhouse Road, Naples. All money raised goes back to the needs of the community. Tickets: adults, $8; children $5.

Boundary County Victim Services annual fall festival and talent show fundraiser: doors open 5 p.m., event starts 6 p.m.; Great Northwest Territories Event Center, 998 Mountain Meadows Road, Naples. Tickets can be purchased at Under the Sun, The Dressing Room and Bonner Books for $20. Tickets are $25 at the door and are available until tickets are gone.
