Bertling represents community's traditional values

| September 1, 2022 1:00 AM

It was like Christmas in August to see that Tim Bertling is running a “write-in” campaign as county commissioner.

Tim is a third-generation Boundary County resident, owner of a contract timber cutting business, an avid bow hunter and fisherman who values time spent with his wife Wendy in their Moyie Springs garden. The Bertlings raised their family here, during which time Tim served on the school board for more than a decade. It doesn’t get any more hometown than that. As commissioner he has demonstrated that he is authentic, reasonable, and holds the welfare of the community above his own personal gain.

There’s a lot going on in this community that doesn’t represent the traditional values of Boundary County. It’s time for 9B to wake up and stand for what has made this community great. We don’t need to be saved from the people and values that built this place. I ask the silent majority of Boundary County to join me in supporting Tim Bertling in November.
