Quilting Group: 9 a.m. to noon, Trinity Lutheran Church, 6784 Cody St., Bonners Ferry. Group meets every Thursday to make kits and quilts to ship to disaster areas and/or third world countries as well as locally. Feel free to join us. The group will teach anyone how to make them. Boundary County Chaplain Corps is hosting a local 9/11 commemoration at 3 p.m. at the Boundary County Fairgrounds Pavilion, Recreation Park Road, Bonners Ferry. Representatives of emergency services agencies will be in attendance, and the public is urged to attend to remember and reflect upon one of the most momentous days in the nation’s history.
