Community members pray for protection from fires in area

BONNERS FERRY — On Sept. 4, community members gathered at the Boundary County Fairgrounds to pray for protection over firefighters and community members affected by the Kootenai River Complex fires.
Those that showed up to pray and sing hymns were less than 20, but their voices could be heard as they worshiped. They prayed Psalm 91, being reminded that God is a “refuge and a fortress” and when called upon he will answer.
