BONNERS FERRY — On Monday, Bonners Ferry High School officials were made aware of potential threats of violence toward the school.
Boundary County School District Superintendent Jan Bayer said the juvenile who made the threats has been investigated and is cooperating with law enforcement.
“The safety of our students and staff in BCSD remains our No. 1 priority,” she said.
Parents/guardians were made aware of the situation Monday night via a phone message from the principal.
“Officer Brandon Johnson, Lisa Iverson and I were all part of the news release,” Bayer said. “We will continue to work closely to ensure the safety of our students, staff and larger community.”
