Letters to the Editor deadline for May 16 election
The cutoff date for Letters to the Editor regarding the May 16 election in the Bonners Ferry Herald is Monday, May 8 at 5 p.m. Letters will be published until the May 11 edition of the Herald.
Our letter policy requires a person's real, legal name, correct and complete address, and a valid phone number. This helps us ensure the person sending the letter actually wrote it. We do not publish names written under a pseudonym or by an anonymous party. If we cannot verify a letter, we do not run it.
Letters must be 250 words or less.
Letters on this topic after the Monday 5 p.m. deadline will not be published. All letters sent in by the deadline that abide by our policy, will run in the paper. Letters can be emailed to news@bonnersferryherald.com or submitted on our website, under "All Sections," "Submissions" and click "Submit Letter to the Editor."
Letters sent in before the deadline will also run in the Herald.
