Petesch and Rae shine at Bigfork Invitational

BIGFORK — Bonners Ferry athletes Riley Petesch and Helene Rae placed in all their field events at the Bigfork Invitational on April 8, amongst many Montana track and field teams.

Petesch won the triple jump at 41-00.00. He also took third in the 300m hurdles at 44.53, and fourth in the 110m hurdles at 17.60 and participated in a four-way tie for fourth place in the high jump at 5-06.00.

Rae took third in the shot put at 34-10.50 and fourth in discus at 99.11.

The Badgers performed well, with the girls finishing in fifth and the boys taking eighth out of 14 teams.

For the Badgers, Makenna Baiseden took third in the 200m at 28.44, a new personal record. Brooke Petesch took second in the 800m at 2:37.86. In the long distance 3200m race, Sydney Beckle took third with a time of 14:13.61.

The Badger girls took second in the 4X400m relay at 4:44.15, the team included Alexandra Fodge, Kimberly Lucas, Brooke Petesch and Lily Krejci.

Brooke Petesch took fourth in the triple jump at 30-03.00.

Gunnar Miller took fourth in the pole vault at 10–00.00.
