Lucas “Luke” McMillan has joined the Bonners Ferry Herald as its new advertising sales and marketing consultant.

As a former educator, McMillan said he wants to customize advertising strategies for each customer, based on their unique needs and wishes. He understands what works for one person or business may not work for others.

“My education and previous work experience provides me with a unique skill set that will allow me to effectively communicate and provide suitable advertising packages for any business' goals,” McMillian said.

“My goal is to develop a narrowly-tailored marketing package for each client based on their particular needs,” he said.

For McMillian, North Idaho has been home for three generations of the family.

“I am passionate about keeping this community a great place for current and future businesses. I believe local businesses are the heartbeat of a community, so my role as your advertising consultant is to do everything I can to help you achieve your specific business goals,” he said.

McMillian can offer clients the full spectrum of media services, including traditional and digital market advertising packages.

When he’s not in the office, he’s typically enjoying the outdoors. He’s a winter sports enthusiast, and is especially fond of snow skiing and snowshoeing. In the spring and summer months he and his wife Toree’ spend time golfing and playing tennis.

He is also an avid sports fan and can be found watching the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Mariners and Gonzaga Bulldogs every chance he can.

Luke McMillian can be reached via email at, lmcmillan@bonnersferryherald.com or give him a call at 208-263-9534, ext. 242.
