| April 20, 2023 1:00 AM

With a heavy heart, we write this:

Shane Brown, 30, passed away. This tragic loss is felt by many. He will forever be loved and missed.

Shane was born to Angie Dodge and Jack Yeoumans on May 18, 1992, and later became the son as well to Richard Brown. Shane grew up in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and graduated from high school in 2010. Shane had a love for being outdoors. He had a green thumb and loved to garden, always having flowers and plants he took care of. The people in his life were cared for the same way, he would do anything for them. A love for hiking into mountain lakes and all things nature. The absolute love of his life was his dog BB.

He leaves behind his parents, Angie Dodge, Rich Brown and Jack Yeoumans; brothers Chase Brown, Casey Brown and Bryan Yeoumans; sisters Desiree (nephews Silas and Wyatt), Savannah (nephews Bentley and Andreas), and Kassandra Yeoumans; Grandpa Richard (Dick) Brown, Jake Yeoumans, Grandma Rosie Douglas; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Wish we could list you all. Proceeding his death are Grandma Betty Dodge, Grandma Barbara Brown, Grandpa Shane Dodge and Papa Doug Douglas.

Our son, friend, brother, cousin, uncle and nephew you are and will always be…

We will have a celebration of life for Shane on May 20, 2023. All are welcome to join us. Details about the celebration will be announced at a later date.
