Two Badgers medal in Timberlake match

BONNERS FERRY — Braylyn Bayer and Eli Blackmore took first for the Badgers against the Timberlake Tigers at the Mirror Lake Golf Course on Tuesday.

Both Badger teams won the match.

Bayer had a 79. Blackmore co-medaled with Timberlake’s Colton Mendenhall at 90.

Also for the Badgers, Mia Blackmore took second for the girls at 102 and Evan Reitz took third for the boys at 91, one stroke behind the medalists.

Badgers girls win at Genesis Prep invite, Bayer Medals

POST FALLS — Avery Bayer shot 77 to earn medalist honors while leading the Badgers to the team title with a 386 at the Genesis Prep Invitational at The Links Golf Club in Post Falls on Wednesday.

The Badger girls won the tournament by 52 strokes leading by 386.

Braylyn Bayer came in second, one stroke behind her sister Avery.

For the boys, Kellogg senior Stephen Paul shot a 74 to earn medalist honors.

The Badger boys tied for fourth out of nine teams, shooting 390. Kellogg took first at 326. Evan Reitz led the Bonners Ferry boys scoring at 86.
