Mendenhall Grandstand donations, now open

BONNERS FERRY — The Boundary County School District is collecting donations by way of seat sponsorships for the new grandstands at the Mendenhall Stadium located on the Bonners Ferry High School and Boundary County Middle School campuses.

The new bleachers will be ADA compliant including a ramp accessing the grandstand.

“The Badgers will be proceeding with plans to replace the much-needed bleachers at the stadium and they need your help,” officials wrote. “Please consider donating and help make this a reality. Your donation is a lifetime investment for our students for decades to come.”

Donations are in tiers with a fundraising goal of $170,000.

Mail your completed form and check to Boundary County School District, C/O Cal Bateman, Business Manager at 7188 Oak St., Bonners Ferry, ID 83805.

Bring your completed form and donation to the district office located at 7188 Oak St., Bonners Ferry. The district office is open Monday through Thursday. Summer hours until Aug. 9 are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and starting Aug. 10 are 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

MVP: Badger blue plaque, your name/business name placed on a sign on the bleachers greeting visitors as they enter the stadium. Cost $1,000.

All Star: Gold plaque, your name/business name placed on a nameplate in the 50-yard section. (Only 100 available). Cost $500.

Rookie: Silver plaque, your name/business name placed on a nameplate in the 20-yard to 40-yard section. (Only 200 available). Cost $350.

Super Fan: Bronze, your name/business name placed on a nameplate in the 10-yard section. (Only 160 available). Costs $250.
