LEGAL NOTICE South Boundary Fire Protection District is in the process of turning over the Simulcast communications equipment to Boundary County. The county has plans to perform upgrades to the system that will better the communications around the county. South Boundary Fire built the system in 2014. The funds were acquired through grant funding and has been maintained and upgraded by Boundary County Fire Chiefs Association since it was built. We would like for the system to move forward and be improved, SBFPD doesn’t have the money in the budget to make the necessary upgrades. The county has plans to acquire funding to improve the system that we all will benefit from. Public input on this matter can be discussed on December 13th at 6pm at our monthly Commissioner meeting.  Legal#11222 AD#16874 December 6, 2023 _________________________
