Bunny went home to be with Jesus on Dec. 13, 2023, in Monument, Colo. She was born in Los Angeles, Calif., in 1945 to Howard and Evelyn Merrill.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lindsay Riezebos; brothers Richard and Robert Merrill; and her parents, Howard and Evelyn Merrill. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Rob; son Dan; daughter-in-law Jakie; grandsons James, Isaac and John; granddaughter Hannah; sisters Marilyn Fasani Nederveld and Suzi Torres; countless nieces and nephews; and the entire Davis family.

Bunny attended school in Inglewood, Calif., and went on to graduate from Fresno State University. She taught business in high school and junior college. But her love was in women's ministry and biblical counseling alongside her soul mate, Mary Muller.

Bunny and Rob were in the cattle business for many years — mainly managing the Double U Cattle Ranch outside El Paso, Texas. The "ranch" was a gathering place for countless family and friends whether for "gathering and branding" cattle, riding lessons, or just loving fellowship. After retirement, they acquired a beautiful farm in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Bunny was passionate about her love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and her knowledge and the sharing of the scriptures. She loved the Word. Bunny will also be remembered for her acute business mind, and her sarcastic humor.

Bunny will be laid to rest at the Rankin Ranch family cemetery (outside Bakersfield, Calif.) along with a memorial service on Jan. 6, 2024.
