BCL promoting literacy around town
Boundary County Library has set up literacy centers in both Panhandle Laundry and the Kaniksu Health Clinic thanks to a $5,000 Kindergarten Readiness grant from the Idaho Commission for Libraries.

BONNERS FERRY — Thanks to a $5,000 Kindergarten Readiness grant from the Idaho Commission for Libraries, the Boundary County Library has been able to set up literacy centers in both Panhandle Laundry and Kaniksu Health Clinic.
The literacy centers are part of a push to help foster “learning in everyday spaces” and the grant is for specifically promoting literacy for ages 0-5.
Each month, new books will be donated to these locations. BCL officials said they are excited and grateful for these opportunities and partnerships.
