Open house for Sunrise Road project coming

BONNERS FERRY — An open house is scheduled for the Sunrise Road-Kootenai Tribe of Idaho and Boundary County on Feb. 22 from 3-6 p.m. at the County Annex.

Renee Nelson, Co-Superintendent of Boundary County Road and Bridge Department, told the Herald the Open House and additional comments will be for road design, approach location and traffic safety for Sunrise road projects on and off highway access and county road approach.

Display boards will be available to review the proposed improvements and project staff will be on hand to answer any questions. Additionally, comments may be mailed and will become part of the project record if postmarked by March 8.
