Darrell Chronister, 88

Darrell Dean Chronister, 88, passed away Feb. 16, 2023, at his home in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Darrell was an only child, born on Jan. 25, 1935, to John and Ella Mae (Hazelrigg) Chronister in Savannah, Mo. He spent most of his life in the Kansas City, Mo., area. He worked for a Ford dealership for 19 years as a service writer and assistant manager, until his diagnosis of retinitis pigmentosa.

Darrell is preceded in death by his parents and grandson Nathan Blevins. He leaves behind his wife, Patricia (Pat) of nearly 58 years; and three children from a previous marriage, Cheryl Parnau of Gladstone, Mo., Darrell Chronister of Leawood, Kan., and Cathy Uecker (Bill) Grand Rapids, Mich.; grandchildren Clayton Cox (Cassie), Mark, David and Dillon Chronister, and Sam and Jack Uecker; and five great-grandchildren.
