Flooding at Courthouse

BONNERS FERRY — Back from the holiday break, county staff discover flooding in the Boundary County Courthouse on Jan. 3.
On Tuesday morning, staff found a toilet located in the basement had broken and was leaking water. The water traveled across the floor and went 10 feet into the Prosecutor's Office.
At the commissioner meeting the commissioners moved to amend the agenda to allow for time sensitive approval to address the water damage. North Idaho Flood and Fire headed up the clean up in conjunction with courthouse maintenance staff.
