2023 annual Elk’s Hoop Shoot

BONNERS FERRY – Valley View Elementary School held its annual Elk’s Shoot free-throw contest on Dec. 28.
“Although shooting free throws can be a moment of pressure, these young athletes did a great job,” said Paula Petesch, Physical Education Teacher.
Taking first place in their age group are Brody Swift, Evan Turner, Bradon Cartwright-Kissee, Megan Young and Jacobie Bateman. These students then competed at the regional competition in Sandpoint on Jan. 7.
On Jan. 7, Bradon Cartwright-Kissee took first place and will advance to the next competition in Kellogg later this month.
