CASA recruiting volunteers

Court Appointed Special Advocates of Bonner and Boundary County is recruiting volunteers to begin a training class at the beginning of February.

“We like to say our advocates are ordinary people that do extraordinary things,” CASA officials wrote.

No experience is required. Volunteer advocates are trained, supported and assigned cases to represent child victims of abuse and neglect in court.

People who would like to make a real difference in the life of a child victim, are encouraged to sign up for the training, CASA officials said.
