2 Badgers place at all girls tournament, Van Tuinstra Duals

OTHELLO — Badger girls wrestling competed at the Lady Husky Invite, an all girls wrestling tournament over the weekend with 700 girls and 64 women brackets, two Badgers placed.

Bonners Ferry was the only Idaho team at the tournament and took on schools from Oregon and Washington.

Neveah Therrien (98) took fourth place and Savannah Rickter (weight) took third.

The Badger girls finished 24th over all with 55.5 points.

Boys have busy weekend at Timberlake

SPIRIT LAKE — Badger boys wrestling was busy competing at the Van Tuinstra Duals against Timberlake and a JV mixer over the weekend.

Timberlake defeated Bonners Ferry at the dual 54-36.

Bonners Ferry High School wrestling coaches said this gave the young team numerous matches and valuable experience, as the wrestling season is coming to an end in a few weeks.
