Artist Bette Myers adds the finishing touches to the third portrait in a series she was commissioned to do by Stan and Georgia DeHart. She painted early settler Harry Plato from an old photograph from his family.

"Stan and Georgia DeHart have commissioned Bonners Ferry artist Bette Myers to create oil paintings of early settlers and early-day prominent Boundary County citizens. Bette has completed three paintings, Harry and Osmond Plato and Doc Fry."
"After they retire, the DeHarts plan to donate the paintings to the Boundary County Historical Society."
